We work to ensure that people with celiac disease in Bulgaria can lead full and peaceful lives—with access to timely diagnosis, guidance on a gluten-free diet, support, and safe food. We are building an environment where both patients and their families can find information, solutions, and community. In partnership with doctors, dietitians, chefs, institutions, industry stakeholders, and other organizations, we focus our efforts on driving real change in the systems that affect the lives of people with celiac disease.
Our Goals
- To improve early diagnosis of celiac disease through greater awareness and training of medical professionals.
- To provide accessible, verified, and up-to-date information on gluten-free living for patients and their families.
- To facilitate easier access to safe gluten-free food—both in stores and in food service establishments—through guidance and training.
- To maintain ongoing dialogue with state authorities to improve regulatory frameworks.
- To work toward more efficient administrative and healthcare procedures, including the development of a registry and electronic patient cards.
- To promote responsibility among institutions and businesses in including people with celiac disease in public life.
- To build a strong community of patients, parents, professionals, and supporters, and to establish regular meetings and support groups.
